Vintage c. 1930s Beistle Halloween Die Cut Skull & Crossbones Lantern

This is a highly collectible die cut Halloween lantern made by Beistle in the mid 1930s. This vintage lantern is made of cardboard with an orange tissue paper lining. This is a four-sided lantern that features a die cut skull & crossbones on each side. According to the Halloween in America Collector's Guide book, the lantern in this listing dates around 1935. According to the Timeless Halloween Collectibles book, the lanterns manufactured in the 1940s and later had a cardboard candle holder, with a tab in the bottom piece to attach the candle holder. This lantern does not have a candle holder or the tab in the bottom piece, which would date it pre-1940s. The measurements are 10" tall by 4.75" wide. Like every one of these lanterns I've seen, the tips at the top are dinged with light creases.
